The Martinez MC88SCE-SR has a high quality solid European spruce top with beautiful santos sides and back. The hardness of santos is similar to Indian rosewood, but the tone is clearer, very loud and with a lot of definition. A great instrument!

The installed Fishman Presys Blend is a dual source system, undersaddle pickup plus microphone, which sounds very natural. The added microphone really lets this system breathe and amplifies all the small details.

The machine heads are very precise and look more luxurious. The MC88SCE-SR has beautiful real wooden bindings and luxurious tie block. The santos sides and back give the instrument volume, definition and depth, the solid spruce top is responsible for high dynamics and full sounding high register tones. The neck of this cutaway model is narrower than standard which improves playability, especially when played standing up.

This Martinez guitar has new features such as the angled bone saddle and the lightweight trussrod with hidden access. Excellent playability is standard with Martinez Guitars.
